Our team at College Essay Advisors (CEA) built College EssAI with a singular objective in mind: to make our signature one-on-one advising methodology more accessible without forsaking sleep entirely or testing the limits (and ethics) of science by cloning ourselves. It is our goal to ensure our customers are satisfied with the services and products we provide.
We understand that few things in life are guaranteed, including admission to your top-choice school nor 100% customer satisfaction. So here is our refund policy for your review so you can make an informed purchase:
Technical Glitches
We work hard to keep College EssAI running smoothly, but if a technical issue or malfunction prevents you from using the tool as intended, we want to make it right. If you report the issue within 30 days of your purchase and we’re unable to resolve it, we’ll issue you a full refund.
To report an issue, just contact our support team with:
- A detailed explanation of the problem
- Any screenshots or error messages that might help us troubleshoot
Admissions Results
As much as we’d love to help all of our customers get into their dream schools, we can’t promise outcomes—and neither can any other responsible Advisor or product. College EssAI is here to support your process, not guarantee results. Because of that, we’re unable to offer refunds based on admissions outcomes, waitlist status, financial aid offers, etc.
User Oversight or Missed Cancellations
Please note that refunds will not be issued for situations where a user forgets to cancel a subscription, overlooks renewal dates, or simply changes their mind after purchase. It is the responsibility of each user to manage their subscriptions and be aware of billing cycles.
By using College EssAI, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to this policy, and that missed cancellations or personal oversight do not constitute grounds for a refund.
Other Refund Requests
If you have a refund request that falls outside of a technical issue, we’re still happy to hear you out. We review these cases individually and aim to be as fair and thoughtful as possible. We do, however, reserve the right to decline a request—especially if a user has violated our Terms of Service or misused the platform.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email our support team with:
- Your purchase details
- A clear explanation of the reasoning behind your refund request
If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.
